Kings Network Trusted Criteria

These criteria define the expectations businesses agree to uphold in order to earn and maintain Trusted Approval. Verification is the starting point and is required before a business may be considered for Trusted Approval.

What Trusted Approval Means

Trusted Approval includes a participation fee that supports review, monitoring, platform operations, and trust related services. Fees may vary based on business size, structure, and scope. Fees do not influence grades, complaint handling, or historical records.

Verification is the initial step. Trusted Approval is the status earned after review. Trusted Approval is not an endorsement, rating, or guarantee of outcomes, pricing, or service quality.

Criteria for Trusted Approval

1. Establish Marketplace Trust

  • Actively offer products or services to the public for a reasonable operating period, generally no less than six months, or demonstrate prior experience operating a similar business.
  • Maintain all required licenses, registrations, and permits applicable to the business.
  • Avoid ongoing or serious regulatory or legal actions that demonstrate harm to consumers. Each situation may be reviewed based on severity, context, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain consistent conduct and performance across all business locations under the same ownership.

2. Represent the Business Honestly

  • Avoid misleading statements, exaggerated claims, or omissions that could influence a customer unfairly.
  • Ensure marketing, advertising, and sales practices comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.
  • Use Kings Network Trusted branding and the Trusted Badge only as permitted and only while Trusted Approval remains active.

3. Communicate Clearly and Accurately

  • Provide customers with clear information regarding refund, return, or cancellation policies; recurring or ongoing commitments; total cost before transaction completion; and known delays, shortages, or service limitations.
  • Provide receipts or confirmations summarizing completed transactions.

5. Honor Commitments

  • Deliver products and services as described and within agreed timeframes.
  • Communicate promptly when commitments cannot be met.
  • Avoid shifting responsibility to customers for business errors or failures.

6. Respond to Concerns in Good Faith

  • Respond to complaints or concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Address the substance of the issue rather than dismissing or deflecting it.
  • Provide reasonable explanations or documentation when disputes arise.
  • Work toward resolution when appropriate and honor agreed outcomes.

7. Protect Customer Information

  • Collect only information necessary for legitimate business purposes.
  • Clearly disclose how customer information is collected, used, stored, and shared.
  • Secure sensitive data using appropriate safeguards.
  • Respect customer preferences regarding communication and data usage.

8. Act With Integrity

  • Avoid practices that intentionally harm customers, competitors, or the public.
  • Address mistakes openly and take reasonable steps to correct them.
  • Refrain from behavior that undermines trust in the Trusted Approval system or marketplace.

9. Commit to Continuous Improvement

  • Review and refine policies, procedures, and customer experiences regularly.
  • Learn from feedback, complaints, and documented performance trends.
  • Adapt responsibly to changes in regulations, technology, and customer expectations.
Failure to maintain these criteria may result in suspension or removal of Trusted Approval and the Trusted Badge.
